Question

Two sides of a triangle are 64 m and 48 m. If height of the triangle corresponding to 48 m side is 6 m, then the height of the triangle corresponding to 64 m side is 4.5 m
If true then enter 1 and if false then enter 0

Solution

Area of triangle =12×base×height
For base 48m, height =6m.

So, area =12×48×6=144m2

Let the height for base 64m, be h.
Area of the triangle will be the same considering any side of the base and its corresponding height.
Hence, area =12×64×h=144m2=>h=4.5m
