The correct option is C 0.06 cm
The same values of sinθ repeats after an interval of, integer multiple of 2π rad

Therefore, the phase difference is equal to π whenever, Δϕ=π+2nπ, for all integral values of n.

Substituting this into the equation of phase difference, we get,
π+2nπ=Δϕ=ϕ1ϕ2
π+2nπ=(20x32t)(25x40t)
π+2nπ=5x+8t
At t=2 s,
π+2nπ=5x+8×2
Or,
5x=16π2nπ........(i)

The smallest positive value of x will be only slightly greater than zero.

2nπ=16π

5x=16π2(2)π
