Given,
d=1mm=1×103m
D=1m
λ=500×109m
We know that fringe widthβ=λDd
Substitute all value in above equation
β=500×109×11×103=0.5mm
Now
if d=1/2mm=0.5×103m
D=2m
λ=500×109m
We know that fringe widthβ=λDd
Substitute all value in above equation
β=500×109×20.5×103=2mm
Correct option is C.
