Distance of 5th bright fringe from the centre =5β
Distance of 3rd dark fringe from the centre =2β+0.5β=2.5β

Therefore, distance between 5th bright fringe and 3rd dark fringe Δy=5β2.5β=2.5β

=1.625×103 m=1.625 mm
