The correct option is C 5.0m/s
A time period of the wave (T)=4s
Distance between boats must be half of the wavelength, because question says that one boat is at highest point, the other is at lowest point and both pops up & down with the same period/
λ=2×distance between boats
2×10=20m

Speed of the wave

=wk

=λT

=204

=5m/s

Hence option (B) is correct
