Let the densities of P,Q and water be ρp,ρq and ρw respectively.
For solid P immersing half of its volume in water :
(V)gρp=(V2)gρw (Archimedes principle)
ρw=2ρp ........(1)
For solid Q immersing (2/3)rd of its volume in water :
(V)gρq=(2V3)gρw (Archimedes principle)
ρw=32ρq ........(2)
From (1) and (2) we get 2ρp=32ρq
ρpρq=34
