Since velocity (v) is the product of frequency (f) and wavelength (w),
f1 = vw1 = v1.3 = 10v13 = 30v39
f2 = vw2 = v3.9 = 10v39
Now, f1f2 = 30v3910v39 = 3
As f1 is 3 times greater than f2, first sound has higher pitch than the second one, because higher the frequency, higher is the pitch.
