Let V1 be the volume of sphere 1,
V2 be the volume of sphere 2.
Both spheres are made of the same material, we can say that density of both materials will be same. Let it be denoted by ρ. Also the specific heat capacity of both spheres will be same. (denoted by s).

Thermal capacity (C) = Mass (m) × specific heat (s)
Also Mass (m) = Volume (V) × Density (ρ)

Ratio of thermal capacities of both spheres is given by:
C1C2=m1sm2s=V1ρV2ρ
C1C2=43πr3143πr32=(r1r2)3
From the data given in the question,
r1r2=12
C1C2=(12)3=1:8
