The correct option is C 3:5
Let the radii of the thin spherical and the solid sphere are R1 and R2 respectively.
Then the moment of inertia of the spherical about their diameter
l=23MR21 ...........(i)
and the moment of inertia of the solid sherical given by
l=25MR22 ...........(ii)
Given that the masses and moment of inertia both the bodies are equal, then from Eqs. (i) and (ii)
23MR21=25MR22R21R22=35
RR2=35R1:R2=3:5.
