The correct option is A


When substances are mixed in equal volume then density = p1+p22=4p1+p2=8 ....(i)

When substances are mixed in equal masses then density = 2p1p2p1+p2=32p1p2=3(p1+p2) .....(ii)

By solving (i) and (ii) we get \( p_{1}\)= 6 and , p2=2.
