Two supplementary angles differ by 34. Find the angles?

Open in App
Solution

Let the smaller angle be xo
Since the two angles differ by 34o, the bigger angle =x+34o
Since the sum of the supplementary angles is 180o
We have x+(x+34)=180o
2x+34=180o
2x=18034=146o
x=146o2=73o
Therefore smaller angle =x=73o
Bigger angle =x+34=73+34=107o
