Two tangents are drawn from a point P to a circle touching the circle at A and B respectively . If PA = 6 cm and AB = 3 cm, then find the perimeter of triangle ABP .

Given: PA = 6 cm and AB = 3 cm

By Theorem- Tangents drawn from an external point onto a circle are equal in length,

PB = PA = 6 cm

Perimeter of triangle ABP
= AB + PA + PB
= (3+6+6) cm = 15 cm
