The correct option is A 9 min
Let us name the 3 Taps be T1,T2,T3
where T1,T2 are filling pipes and T3 is Waste Pipe.
Water Supplied by T1 in 10 min=Volume of Cistern or V
Water Supplied by T1 in 1 min=V10

Similarly, Water Supplied by T2 in 15 min=V
Water Supplied by T1 in 1 min=V15

Let us assume t be the time by T3 to empty Cistern.
Similarly, Water removed from T3 in 1 min=Vt

Now,it is given that they can together fill V in 18 minutes (i.e. in 1min Water supplied =V18 )
V10+V15Vt=V18

110+1151t=118
Solving this Equation we get
t=9min

Therefore Answer is (B)
