Total distance to be travelled by trains to cross $=$ length of both trains

$=110+90=200m$

Relative velocity of trains$=36km/hr+54km/hr=90km/hr90\times \frac{5}{8}=25m/s\therefore t=\frac{200}{25}=8s$
