B BC = DE
C DE = 4 cm
In the figure,
ABC DEF by RHS criteria
AC is hypotenuse of ABC
AB , BC are sides of ABC
B = 90
and
DF is hypotenuse of DEF
DE , EF are sides of DEF
E = 90

AB = 3 cm, EF = 3 cm
AC = 5 cm, DF = 5 cm

Applying pythagoras theorem in Δ DEF,
DF2=DE2+EF2
52=DE2+32
259=DE2
16=DE2
DE=16=4 cm

AC = DF [Hypotenuse]
B = E = 90
Now, BC = DE = 4 cm [ C.P.C.T]
