The correct option is A 40,100 tonnes
Nickel in Type A = 5%
Nickel in Type B = 40%
Nickel in resulting steel = 30%.
By Alligation rule
Type A:Type B = 10:25 = 2:5
We have to obtain 140 tonnes of steel

Steel of type A=27×140=40 tonnes
