the COM of vertical rod is at centre of the rod.
the COM of horizontal rod is at its centre, and horizontally in same line as previous rod

now, due to the horizontal mass, the COM will shift symmetrically half the length upwards

So, net COM is at 3/4 the length of the vertical rod from down most point
