Taking Moments about point 'O'

clockwise moments = Anticlockwise moments,

$Mg\times \frac{l}{2}sin\left({30}^o\right)$ = $mg\times \frac{l}{2}sin\left({60}^o\right)$ ,

$\Rightarrow \frac{M}{2}=m\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}$

$\therefore \frac{M}{m}=\sqrt{3}$
