The correct option is B 4:1
The ratio of wavelengths = 1:4
We know that,
v=f×λ,
where v= Velocity of sound,
λ= Wavelength of the sound, and
f = Frequency.

Since, both the waves travel in the same medium, v remains constant.
λ1×f1=λ2×f2
λ1λ2=f2f1

Given that λ1λ2=14.
Hence, f2f1=14 or
f1f2=41
Thus, the ratio of frequencies of the two waves is 4:1.
