The correct option is A ρ1+ρ2

Step 1: Calculation of resistance of both wires

We know that Resistance, R=ρ l/A

As, the physical dimensions are same then Length l and Area A are constant
So, R1=ρ1 l/A
& R2=ρ2 l/A

Step 2: Equivalent resistance and resistivity
For series combination Req=R1+R2=(ρ1+ρ2)l/A
Compare this with Req=(ρeq)l/A
So, ρeq=ρ1+ρ2

Hence, Option A is correct
