Solution

The correct option is A 14 years
Let age of Mohit's son = x

2 years ago Mohit's son age = x2

Mohit age at that time = 3(x2)

Present age of Mohit = 3(x2)+2

3x6+2=3x4

2 year hence Mohit's age = (3x4)+2

2 year hence son's age = x+2

According to question

5(x+2)=2(3x2)

x=14

Present age of Mohit's son = 14 years

Mohit Age = 38 years
