Solution

Answer :

The radius and height of each cylindrical dispenser is 3.5 m

We know Volume of cylinder = π r2 h

Here Radius ( r ) = Height ( h ) = 3.5

Volume of a cylindrical dispenser = 22 7×3.52 × 3.5 = 22 7×3.5 × 3.5 × 3.5 = 22 × 0.5× 3.5 × 3.5= 134.75 m3
So,
Volume of two cylindrical dispenser = 2× 134.75 = 269.50 m3

We know 1 m3 = 1000 liter , So

269.50 m3 = 1000 × 269.50 = 269500 liter

We know 1 liter = 100 ml , So

269500 liter = 1000 × 269500 = 269500000 ml

If each person is taking 275 ml of water .

Total number of people can drink the water = 269500000 275 = 980000 ( Ans )
