Solution
The structures of the leaves vary from species to species depending on their adaptation to climate and availability of light. Simple Leaf has an undivided blade. The shape of the leaf may be formed of lobes but the lobes do not reach the main vein or the midrib. The leaves may also have different types of venations. Few are:
Pinnate: a single midrib and secondary veins branching off at intervals
Palate: 3 or more primary veins arising near the base of the blade and spreading out like a fan
Pinnipalmate: intermediate between pinnate and palmate; the lowermost pair of secondary veins is slightly larger
Parallel: many equal veins running in the same direction and joining at the apex
