  • Calculate the mass of sodium sulphate required to prepare its 20precent (mass per cent ) solution in 100g lof water

20% solution (wt/volume) = 20g of solute in 80gram of solvent. so the solution contain 100gram in which wt. of solute is 20gram.

So 80gram of water requires 20 gram sodium sulphate to make 20% solution

∴100gram of water will require 20/80 x 100 = 25 gram sodium sulphate.
