Inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) should not be given at the time of fever or diarrhoea because it may interfere with drugs or antibiotics given for diarrhoea. But oral polio vaccine (OPV) can be given at the time of fever or diarrhoea as it do not interfere with any drug or antibiotic.
