Surface tension of soap is σ
Given : r1=r r2=2r
Soap bubble has two layers, thus it has two surfaces (inside and outside).
Total surface area of smaller bubble A1=2×4πr21=8πr2

Also total surface area of bigger bubble A2=2×4πr22=2×4π(2r)2=32πr2
Thus net change in surface area ΔA=A2A1=32πr28πr2=24πr2
