Solution

Renewable Source of Energy: The energy available in the environment that gets renewed by itself is renewable energy. It is available in unlimited quantities.

Non-renewable Source of Energy: The non-renewable source of energy cannot replenish itself. It is available in limited quantities.

When the rate of consumption of a renewable source of energy is more than its renewal rate, then the renewable source of energy becomes a non-renewable source of energy.

For example, firewood is considered a renewable source of energy. If we plant trees at the same rate, we cut down and the consumption of firewood is more than the rate of planting trees, then it will become a non-renewable source of energy.
