Under which of the following operations, are the integers not closed?
Division
When we add, subtract or multiply any two integers, the result will always be an integer.
For example: Consider two integers -4 and 7
Addition: -4 + 7 = 3, which is an integer.
Subtraction: -4 - 7 = -11, which is an integer.
Multiplication: -4 × 7 = -28, which is an integer.
Division:−47 = -0.57, which is not an integer.
So only in case of division, integers do not follow the closure property.
