I the product, this are two ring structures. For the benzene part that is
= no of rings + no of 71 bonds = 4
Similarly, for the furan part,
= no of 71 bonds + no of rings = 2 + 1 = 3
Degree of unsaturation or unit of unsaturation or index of hydrogen deficiency or double bond equivalents {total}
= 4 + 3 = 7
The product is obtained by Hydrogenation with two equivalents of H2. (catalyst)
