Unspecialised mass of cells is termed as:
Unorganised mass of cells is known as callus. In tissue culture, a small part of any tissue is grown in special medium in test tubes or plates. The nutrients in the medium transform that small piece into a shapeless mass of cells called callus. Then, this callus is transferred to another test tube containing a different medium. With the help of nutrients in this medium, the shapeless mass is converted into a plantlet.
