Until when does water move from its region of higher chemical potential to that of its lower?

Solution
Osmosis:
The process of water diffusing through a membrane that is differently or selectively permeable is known as osmosis.
Osmosis happens naturally as a result of a driving force.
Both the pressure gradient and the concentration gradient affect the net direction and rate of osmosis.
Until equilibrium is attained, water will flow from its zone of higher chemical potential (or concentration) to its region of lower chemical potential. The water potential in the two chambers should be substantially equal at equilibrium.
