By rooftop gardening, the atmosphere of the house will be cool. So, usage of fans will be minimised and thus, the electrical energy can be conserved. Kitchen wastes can be collected and converted to manure, which can be used for growing plants in the rooftop of the garden. This will help to minimise the energy required to process and transport the wastes. This will help to combat the pollution in the urban areas at individual level.
