Solution

Urine:

  1. Urine is a transparent yellow fluid with a pH of roughly 6, being mildly acidic.
  2. The presence of urochrome, a pigment generated by the breakdown of hemoglobin, gives urine its yellow color.
  3. The color and pH of urine might differ depending on a person's diet.

Nature of urine:

  1. The blood in our bodies is alkaline, but the urine that is produced from it is acidic.
  2. It is because acidic compounds are continuously introduced to the blood, this is the case.
  3. However, the kidney's filtration process selectively filters such chemicals from the blood into the urine.
  4. This makes urine acidic in comparison to blood alkalinity.
