Solution

As per the question, we have to find (-1) + (-2) + (-3)

(-1) + (-2) + (-3) = -1 -2 -3

So, to find the value we will follow the steps:

(i) make a number line

(ii) start with the number -1 on the number line.

(iii) move 2 units to the left of -1 on the number line. We reach the point -3.

(iv) Now, we move 3 units to the left of (-3). We reach the point (-6).

Hence, (-1) + (-2) + (-3) = (-6)
