Open in App
Solution

the law relating the operations of multiplication and addition, stated symbolically, a(b + c) = ab + ac; that is, the monomial factor a is distributed, or separately applied, to each term of the binomial factor b + c, resulting in the product ab + ac.

(-4)×20-(-4)×15-(-4)×62+(-4)×97
Take -4 out side
then we get;
= -4 × (20-15-62+97)
= -4 × 40
= -160
Answer is -160
