In this case, three spheres are connected to each other. Therefore, they will act like a single object. The given process of charging involves charging by induction. In this process, when a charged body is brought near an uncharged body, charges of opposite nature are induced on the nearby surface of the uncharged object facing the charged object and charges of the same nature are induced on the opposite face of the uncharged object.

When the negatively-charged sphere is brought near one of the three uncharged spheres, the nearby face of the uncharged sphere accumulates positive charges and an equal amount of negative charges get accumulated on the far face. This distribution of charges continues in all the connected spheres. This distribution of charges in the three spheres is correctly shown in the figure given in alternative C.
