Two supplementary angles are such that the smaller angle is twenty-one degrees less than half of the other angle.

Dear Student,
let the smaller angle be x, then larger angle will be 2(x + 21°)
As the angles are supplementary, therefore,
x + 2(x + 21°) = 180° ( sum of supplementary angles is 180°)
x + 2x + 42° = 180°
3x = 138°
x = 46°
So, smaller angle = 46°
Larger angle = 180° - 46° = 134°
