(i) J belongs to the fifth group hence, it has 5 valence electrons.
(ii) M belongs to group number VII hence, it has 7 valence electrons. To attain stability it needs to gain 1 electron and thereby it forms single negative charged ion.
(iii) T is more reactive than R. The reactivity of an element increases down the group.
(iv) The period number indicates the number of shells present hence, T is the element which is having its electrons arranged in four shells.
