Use your results in part(a) to explain how to find(a×10n)×(b×10m) and (a×10n)÷(b÷10m). Describe any properties that you use.

Step1 . To find (a×10n)×(b×10m) , we need multiply a and b first and then multiply powers .

(a×10n)×(b×10m) =(a×b)×(10n×10m)=(a×b)×(10n+m)

Exponent Law that is used is am×an=am+n

Step 2. To find(a×10n)÷(b×10m) , we need divide a and b first and then divid powers .

(a×10n)÷(b×10m) =(a÷b)×(10n÷10m)=(a÷b)×(10n-m)

Exponent Law that is used is am÷an=am-n
