From the given no.s 3,4,5,6,7,8, to form numbers that are divisible by 5, last digit must be 5
and for the number to lie between 3000-4000, the first digit should be 3

number of places left = 2
3(fix) (2nd) (3rd) 5(fix) both, 2nd and 3rd places can be filled with 6 numbers to form distinct no.s lying between 3000 and 4000 and which are divisible by 5.
