using divisibility test, determine 6000 is divisible by 4 and 8:

If the last two digits of a whole number are divisible by 4 , then the entire number is divisible by 4
But in 6000 last two digits are zero so :
When 6000÷4=1500, we get remainder zero therefore the 6000 is divisible by 4.
If the last three digits of a whole number are divisible by 8 , then the entire number is divisible by 8.
But in 6000 last three digits are zero so :
When 6000÷8=750, we get remainder zero therefore the 6000 is divisible by 8.
Hence 6000 is divisible by 4 and 8.
