We have to find the average velocity for first 4s, for next 4s and for last 6s.

Step 3: Finding the average velocity for first 4s

We know the formula,

Averagevelocity=ChangeindisplacementTotaltimetaken

By substituting the values,

v=4-04-0=44=1ms-1

Step 4: Finding the average velocity for next 4s

v=4-48-4=04=0

Step 5: Finding the average velocity for last 6s

v=0-616-10=-66=-1ms-1

Therefore, the average velocity for first 4s is 1ms-1, for next 4s is 0, and for last 6s is -1ms-1.
