Using heron's formula, find Area of triangle

whose sides are 5 cm, 12 cm & 13 cm

$\to$ Area = $\sqrt{S(S-a)(S-b)(S-c)}$

$S=\frac{a+b+c}{2}=\frac{5+12+13}{2}=15$

$\to$ Area = $\sqrt{15(15-5)(15-12)(15-13)}$

$=\sqrt{15\times 10\times 3\times 2}$

$=\sqrt{900}$

Area = $30c{m}^2$
