${5.2}^2={(5+0.2)}^2$ is of the form ${(a+b)}^2=a^2+b^2+2ab$

where $a=5,b=0.2$

$\therefore {5.2}^2={(5+0.2)}^2$

$=5^2+{0.2}^2+2\times 5\times 0.2$

$=25+0.04+2=‬27.04$

$\therefore {5.2}^2=27.04$
