Steps of construction :

(i) Draw a line segment BC.

(ii) With center B and a suitable radius, draw an arc meeting BC at E.

(iii) With center E and same radius, cut-off arcs EF and FG.

(iv) Bisect arc FG at H. [Bisecting arc FG: Cut an arc taking F as the center, cut another arc taking the same radius from center G, the intersecting point is H]

(v) Join BH and produce it to A.

Then $\angle$ ABC = ${90}^{\circ }.$
