$(50 + 2.5) \times (10 + 1.2)$
Step 2 : Now open the brackets by multiplying both brackets
$= 50 (10 + 1.2) + 2.5 (10 + 1.2) = 500 + 60 + 25 + 3 = 560 + 25 + 3 = 585 + 3 = 588$
Hence the result is $588$
