Using the identity from question $(a + b)^{2} = a^{2} + 2 a b + b^{2}$
$(3 x + 2 y)^{2} = (3 x)^{2} + 2 \times ⌈ 3 x \times 2 y ⌉ + {(2 y)}^{2}$
$(3 x + 2 y)^{2}$ = $9 x^{2} + 2 (6 x y) + 4 y^{2}$
solution = ${9 x}^{2} + 12 x y + 4 y^{2}$
