5x+2y=13 x=13-2y5 ...(i) 4x-3y=15 ....(ii)Substituting eq (i) in eq (ii), we get : 4×13-2y5-3y=1552-8y-15y=75-23y=23y=-1Substituting y=-1 in eq (i), we get : x=13-2×-15x=3Hence, x=3, y=-1 is the solution of the given equations.
