From the diagram it can be seen that angle between A and B is 90. So, the magnitude of resultant can be given as
R=|A|2+|B|2
since, cos90=0
R=122+122
R=122 N
Also, angle between vector A and resultant R is
tan α=1212=1
α=tan11=45

Hence, magnitude of resultat is 122 N and angle between vector A and resultant R is α=45.
