Natural vegetation occurs when a piece of land with fertile soil is left uninterrupted for a long period of time.
Some plant species grow on such fertile soil automatically.
There are five types of natural vegetation: Tropical evergreen forests, Tropical deciduous forests, Tropical thorn forests, Montane forests and Mangrove forests.
